Bareilly: The administration of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University has stepped up efforts to address long-pending infrastructural and basic facility issues at the BDA Hostel, bringing relief hopes for resident students.
Acting on the initiative of hostel warden Professor A.K. Singh, a CMC team conducted an on-site inspection of the hostel on Saturday to assess problems related to sewer lines, electricity supply and water facilities.
During the visit, officials closely reviewed the conditions prevailing in the hostel and interacted with both students and the administration to understand the concerns in detail. The team assured that necessary repair and maintenance work would begin soon to resolve the long-standing issues and improve overall hostel management and infrastructure.
Speaking on the occasion, Professor A.K. Singh said that providing students with a safe and comfortable residential environment remains a top priority for the university administration. He added that continuous coordination is being maintained with the concerned departments to ensure that corrective measures are implemented at the earliest.

Students residing in the hostel also expressed optimism over the administration’s proactive approach and hoped that the initiative would lead to visible improvements in living conditions in the coming days.
The inspection is being viewed as a significant step toward strengthening student welfare and improving campus residential facilities at the university.
